Just thought I'd mention this for my bloggy friends who like to bead and make jewelry. Don't you think one of these ladybug beads would make a great necklace? Hmmm...I just may have to order one.
Well, it's home improvement central at our house this weekend. Joe and I are replacing our ugly (put in by the original owners) white tile and worn out carpeting with wood laminate flooring. We hired someone to remove our old flooring and do the installation, but we both have the day off tomorrow to clean and paint the baseboards as the installer removes them. It will be a long and dirty weekend at our place, but come Monday we'll have beautiful new floors. Here's a few before photos...

Can't wait to see the after pics...I have always wanted to get rid of my tile in exchange for wood flooring.

Good choice on the flooring, I love wood floors, they really give the house a homey feel. I'll be looking for those after pics.
I have hardwoods throughout most my house, and had laminate installed in the kitchen a year ago - think I like it better than the hardwood. Have fun!
We did the wood laminate in a large portion of our upstairs. We LOVE it! You will be so happy! There isn't anything better for dogs and kids and just general living. I just found out the other day that crayon come off it very easily with the scrubby part of a sponge! Can't wait to see the after pictures!
Oh my, those really are nice beads! :) I have to admit, we stock different 'stoneware' porcelain beads than that... Very cool.

You're going to love that laminate flooring. So easy to care for and it will give your rooms such a warm, cozy feeling. My sister has laminate in much of her home and it's great for kids and dogs.
We have original hardwoods here, but they are more work than laminate.
I can hardly wait to see the after pictures.
