Wow, our LID (2/17) finally made it to the top line of the Rumor Queen projection chart!!For family and friends not familiar with her projections, referrals for the last year have fallen on her "Horrid Case" date, her "Spring 2008 Small" date or something in between. We can't be 100% sure we are in for the next batch, but I'm feeling pretty darn good about it. I would say I'm feeling about 95% sure. Over the past year, referrals have only fallen below the "Spring 2008 Small" projected date twice. I think I'll take those odds! ;)

Next, you don't have to answer this, but have you thought about how you are going to introduce Lauren to your home, family, friends? What am I thinking, of course you have! I'm only asking cuz one of my coworkers came to our agency from an international adoption agency that recently closed, but was one that would do some of the the dossier work and such for the bigger agency that you are hooked up with, I think. Anyway, she's excited for you too, as she knows how long this can take. She has some great ideas and such for your first nights in your home with Lauren, etc. Though I told her you are among the most researched people I know, she'd be glad to share if you or fellow bloggers would like to hear them.

You should know that I used a very Scientific Method of closing my eyes... flicking the mouse a few times and opening my eyes to see where it landed. It landed right on Guangdong. Oddly enough that was my first guess before I employed the scientific method.

Well, to tell you the truth, I feel alittle Jiangxi-ish but Sichuan(Chengdu) might not be too bad either. Who cares as long as we get her home already. It's enough waiting!!!

Yippee! I am beyond thrilled for you. And I simply cannot wait to see your post once you get the referral. Aside from the day she is placed in her arms- referral day will be something you remember forever! I get goose bumps just thinking about how I felt on referral day- and I cannot wait for you to have that experience, too! Now go get all those projects done that you procrastinated on for 3+ years- because in just a few weeks your life will never, ever be the same again!
While we've never met, I have been thinking of you and the exciting news you are anticipating. I remember knowing that we were next in line for referrals, what an exciting time. We also received our referral in November, so maybe she will be a YangDong (Guangdong Province) baby.
