As Catherine mentions on her post, it really is hard to get excited about decorating for Christmas while waiting for our little ones. During Christmas 2005, we were going to be home with Lauren in time to celebrate Christmas 2006 with her. Then when that didn't happen, we celebrated Christmas 2006 just knowing that was the last one without our daughter. Now, here we are with Christmas 2007 in a few weeks and again we just know we'll have her by this time next year. Do we REALLY know that for a fact....nope. Chances are, we will be...but I'm getting tired of saying "next year....".

I am confident this will be your last year without your baby. Next year, we'll be reeling you in on the gift buying for baby Lauren.
Your tree is beautiful! Love all the Asian ornaments you have collected. So far I only have a Mulan ornament I purchased at Disney last Christmas. I'm going to keep my eyes open for another Asian one that I can add this year.
Praying this is the very last year you are celebrating Christmas without Lauren in your arms.

What a beautiful tree with such nice ornaments! I think this is your last Christmas without Lauren too... thank goodness, it is also a long wait for some of us waiting for Lauren too! We can't wait to see her precious picture next year.
