and still counting! Hopefully this month's referrals will be out soon and we can do our monthly guesstimate on when we'll get our first glimpse of Lauren. I find myself thinking more and more about what she will look like, how old she'll be and where she is.
As we get closer to referral, I feel like I'm riding a roller coaster...the same one we were on years ago when we were trying to get pregnant. I thought that ride was over when we decided to adopt, but I learned pretty quickly that we're right back on. As the months go by, it feels like the drops are steeper and the ride gets more out of control.

I do not think I have ever post before but I just wanted to say I hope there is a SPEED up for you and your referral.
We actually lived in Phoenix when we went through all the infertility treatments and that is where we lived when we adopted our oldest son from Korea:-)
I know you get tired of hearing the wait will all be worth it some day when you are holding her, but it is sooo true. You just want to HOLD HER NOW!!!

I used to get soooo excited at the passing of every LID-versary, but now it is harder to have that much "glee" with the prospect of another 8 or more months ahead.

I am soooooo tired of this rollercoaster as well. Like you i never thought it would be a rollercoaster ride like the IVF days but it is exactly the same!
