Who's out there?

I've noticed lately that my little adoption blog has been getting lots of visitors. I know that we have family and a few friends who follow along, plus all my Blogville buddies. I recently added a world map on the bottom of my sidebar, which shows where everyone visiting is from. It sure is interesting to see how far away some readers are.

If you're a regular visitor who's never left a comment, I'd love to hear from you. If you don't have a Blogger login, you are still able to leave a comment.

I'm curious to see who's stopping by my teeny tiny corner of the web.

Hi there
I check your blog regularly but don't comment. I honestly can't remember how I came across your blog (must have been from someone else's blog) but I was first attracted to your beautiful digital scrapbooking you used on your blog.
I noticed that you live in the Chandler area too, and although I'm from Canada, my parents spend their winters very close to Chandler and we visit there each year!
Anyways, if you're interested in checking out my blog, just email me and I"ll give you the url.

Hi - I'm a long time "lurker" - I think I found your site from the Jan DTC yahoo group (maybe). We "bailed" this past summer and went WC - got our daughter in July. It's amazing! I'm eagerly watching how all of this unfolds for my Jan/Feb DTC friends! Lucy

Hi Donna - I live in Chandler and have been following your blog for awhile. Keeping your family in my thoughts and hoping you see Lauren soon!

LONG time lurker!! I came across your blog back in 05 when we started our journey to our first daughter. I was looking for names and Lauren was one of our choices..Then i found out my MIL was moving to Chandler (she ended up in the city of Maricopa) so one thing lead to another and I just became attached to you and cheer for you every month that you count down the months...
I will be in Maricopa in April and will be at the Chandler Fashion mall for sure......I will be the crazy lady chasing 3 kids.

Relatively new lurker...I found this blog through another China blog (blanking on which at the moment). DH and I have wanted to adopt from China for a long time, and are waiting until we're 30 to begin our paperchase. Until then I love to follow others' adoption blogs and see the families finally united. Hope you don't mind if I stick around! :-)

Donna: I am a long time lurker, I live in Scottsdale and I have a little girl from China who is also named Lauren. My Lauren is almost 4 1/2 years old. I think from the way you talk you will be a great mom and I feel so bad that you have had to wait so long for your little girl. My wait was pretty short so I feel for all the parents to be that have to deal with the long wait. Some day I always assumed we would meet (at a FCC outing). Take care I am rooting that your wait will end soon.

Hi!

I'm a "long distance" visitor, all the way from Sweden. Have three children adopted from Korea.

I just bumbed into your blog and can't let it go. I hope you will see your daughter soon! I don't see how I would have coped with the long wait you go through. All our three adoptions went super fast...

I have friends with kids from China and I'm very interested in anything related to adoption.

I don't have a blog but if you'd like to contact me, just mail me at: cloudberrypie@hotmail.com

I'm a newish reader... stumbled in a week or so ago from M3's site....
I'm another one of the long distance folks.... I live in Japan. I like reading about the process... may want to adopt internationally myself someday... I'm still a bit young for kids and that whole settling down bit. :D

Anyway... here's to hoping your wait is over soon.

Hello there-
I have been reading your blog for a while now. We are also a China waiting family with a LID of 2/06/06. This wait seems to be never ending! My husband and I live in Virginia, we are waiting for our first child. Though we do have two very spoiled canines. Hoping that our referrals are just a couple more months away.

Peeking out from lurkdom here ... I stumbled upon your site somehow and remained because I loved the colors! I wouldn't have posted, but Curious George is a favorite at our house, so I felt compelled. We have one daughter, almost four, whom we adopted from Jiangxi in 2005 ... and we are waiting with a June 06 LID.

Guess I got caught too. We are Jenn and Kevin, currently residing the Lansing, MI area. I think I came across your blog via the Salsa site. We are LID 4/24/06. To make our wait interesting, we accepted a new job in Michigan for my husband, so now we have "work" to do to move our file from Illinois to Michigan. It is giving us something to do as this wait is getting on our nerves. We are about to be fingerprinted for the third time this summer-maybe it will be a new experience, since it is a new state :-)
Our blog is www.mairzydoatsanddozydoats.blogspot.com
Have a great day!

Hi,
Longtime lurker from Texas here. We returned from Poland 2 weeks ago today, after adopting our new 2year old son! Our wait was not as long as yours, 13 mos from paper ready to home at last, but I really feel for you. The waiting & unknown was just painful! I hope you get good news & things in China pick up :-) Kelly

First time visiting your site, very nicely done. We are LID 2/28 and with the crawl of referrals I guess we won't be seeing you in China (even though I don't know if we are with the same agency or not). I look forward to following your blog as we all get closer.

I should try this out on my site... I have the map on the bottom and find it interesting on how many people are dropping by... I drop by from time to time - as you know...

Long time lurker here:) We are from Florida near Disney. Love your blog because it has a little of everything i.e. China adoption news, decorating tips, recipes, best baby purchase ideas etc. We have a 9/06 LID with China and decided in Agust 07 to switch to the Country of Kazakhstan. I pray for all families in the "wait" period. Can't wait to see that referral picture of sweet Lauren she will be so blessed to have you!!

Guess I am a lurker too...I am from Jackson, MS and our LID is 05/14/07. This is our first child so I guess I connected with your blog that way. I can not remember when it was but one day you had a post that just touched my heart about the waiting...and it being your first child. I just knew you were as ready to be a mom as I am and just get frustrated with the wait. I like your colors too!!

yes I am here too just love stoping by. You are getting closer and when you have your referral I will be that much closer too. It's alway nice to see how others are handeling the wait. Hang in there.

Hi Donna,

I have been following your journey for quite some time! We too used AHH as our agency. I believe we originally found your blog through Gwen's blog...which we no longer follow because we didn't make the password protection cut, I guess. We adopted Brooke from Chongqing on 7/3/07. She is 15 months now and pure joy. You can check her out at: http://brookeinchina.blogspot.com

Keep posting and I'll keep reading!

Howdy. I check your site from time to time. I haven't checked in for a while. I enjoy reading and can't wait for that referral picture to pop up. We got a our little girl over 2 1/2 years ago. It is so sad to see the delay because we had a 1/11/05 LID and something happened after we got home. The wait is out of hand. It is weird to see people only 11 months after us just now getting their referrals.

Hope you get yours soon.

Susan
