Lauren is finally done with her 10 day course of antibiotics and her MRSA boil is gone. The pediatrician said this is the best case scenario since the boil never got worse and no other symptoms developed. Let's keep our fingers crossed that no other boils surface in the near future! It was SO nice to put her to bed tonight without the struggle to get the medication down!
I have no pics today, but I wish I had my camera out earlier today. Lauren was so smiley and happy when we were playing this afternoon. It's so great to see her personality develop. I think my mom described it the best by saying she's like a beautiful flower and as she blossoms her petals open up to reveal her true self. I like that and it seems so true. Those of you who are still waiting will find out for yourself someday...I just wish it was sooner for you all rather than later! :)

glad Lauren is done with the medicine and there have been no more symptoms. It is amazing just to see the changes on your blog I can't even imagine what you are seeing.
Claire has a spot on her thigh that her ped says looks like a healed MRSA wound. Of course, there was no report of her having had anything at all. Hmmm....great mysteries of life. She has a boatload of lab results pending. Still, I'm not worried about a thing, she's my girl no matter what life throws at us.
I know exactly what you mean about that blossoming opening and it is fantastic. Enjoy, mama.
I'm glad that her boil is gone and you are done with medication! I remember how difficult some medication was to give to my kids when they were little. This doesn't mean that any future medication will be a battle, there must be some that tastes better because some was not a problem to give.
I'm really enjoying reading your blog and watching all of the changes in Lauren!
