Nursery pics!

I have my new camera, so I finally got some pictures of Lauren's room.

This shot is taken from the doorway...

These are the sheers I got at Pottery Barn Kids. If you enlarge the photo you can see the detail much better...

I guess I need to stop clothes shopping now! ;)

Now that the room is done, I find myself wandering in there a lot to look around or just sit in the rocker. I also find myself going through the closet and picturing Lauren is all those cute outfits. I'm really glad we waited to get the room set up because I don't think I could have handled endless months and years of having it done. As it is now, we still have months ahead of us...but hopefully not too many!

Oh,it's so cute! I am actually in the process of taking down some of our nursery(the crib and changing table) because I just can't deal with it right now. I want my sister to come visit us more and I want to make the room more of a guest room for her and the kids. I know the day will come when I can get it fully functional and decorated, but I don't know when that will be.

Oooo Donna - it's absolutely divine! Fit for a princess! So you decided to put the pink baskets in the closet, not on the bookshelf? Goodness only knows, we all need more storage for our kids, don't we?!!!

I love the lanterns over the crib - very nice!

Donna and Joe, the room looks just beautiful. MacLean's room was that colour when she was a baby. It brought me back to those days. You guys have done a wonderful job.

Wow ! The nursery looks great. I love the lanterns and the little shelf with her name made with blocks. Too cute! Looks like the camera takes nice photos. I wonder how it will do with a moving target. I take so many photos of the floor. By the time the camera snaps the picture, Caitlin is in another room! :)
