Attention mommies to be...

I hate to burst your bubble, but you might as well give up your fantasy now of outfits with those cute little matching headbands like these...

NO WAY, mommy, I'm NOT wearing this thing...

But I'll live with this little clip, but only for a little while...ok?

What a hoot! My daughter hates hairbands too, however, she leaves in bows just fine! Cute pictures!

Ah yes, they do have their own ideas don't they! One little trick I learned from M3 when the girls wanted to wear a hair clip of a certain colour, she'd show them the one they wanted but had the matching color hidden in her hand and put in the one she wanted. They couldn't see it once it was in their head and all were happy. :o)

So cute.....

Keep at it Donna..Sophia hated anything on her head or face from the day we got her until months later after we were home. Now Sophia will not let me put her to bed with out a bow in her hair...

Lauren looks wonderful..

Hah! That a girl, Lauren. You be an independent girl who knows what she wants! But once in a while, humor Mommy, okay? :)

And keep smiling!

She's so adorable! I hope she learns to appreciate the headbands. I had to live with a bow taped to my head! :)

Sigh, don't I know it.. I bought my twin girls so many hats. Hats that when I wasn't looking were tossed from their heads and the stroller, never to be seen again!

But, for NOW you have full choice of what she wears :) ENJOY that for me will you?! ;)

Ah yes....I too have a non headband wearing...not so long clip wearing girl. Of course she came home with almost no hair (they shaved her head) but we've never really gotten into it. 1 and a half years later and still no deal...but she is still beautiful! And I understand the older mom thing too.... I don't think I look old either, and am sad that just because some people in their forties are grandparents, it is just as normal to have young children. My friends and I can cover ALL the bases! from Married children to babies!
