We're home!

Just a short post with some pics since I'm exhausted! Lauren's internal clock is totally out of whack and her sleeping is all off...I feel a little like a zombie right now.

We spent the last day in China finishing up our packing and relaxing a bit before taking the oath at the U.S. Consulate. Here's a couple of my favorite pics from that day...

We got home on Friday at 4:30pm Phoenix time (1:30am China time) and had such a fantastic greeting from friends and family! After two weeks living out of a hotel room with a brand new toddler in a foreign country, I was NEVER so glad to be home!!

I promise to post much more later, but it's 2am and I finally got Lauren to sleep about a half hour ago. If I don't hit the sack now and get some sleep while she is out, I'll be S O L (so out of luck)!

I have been up with our daughter since 3:30am and just got the chance to read through your entire trip.

Lauren is such a beautiful girl and seems incredibly sweet and so very smart! Thank you so much for posting each day and allowing all of us waiting to have a chance to live vicariously though you.

Praying for your beautiful family, that you find rest, peace, and laughter each day!

Wow, what a great thing to come home to. You have wonderful friends and family.

I consider getting back on our own time clock the 2nd biggest challenge of the adoption trip. It's a bear! But just look at your little blessing. Enjoy!

Welcome home guys! Glad you made it safe and sound.

Welcome home! Lauren looks just great in the pics...glad she's doing better.

Forcing yourself & Lauren into the sun each day will really help with the jetlag (no matter how much you want to sleep!)

Take care,

Love the top photo with Hello Kitty. I feel that smile has the real Lauren Elizabeth beaming through. The quilt and your homecoming was lovely. I want to learn to digiscrap someday! I am so happy to know that your mom can finally be with her daughter and granddaughter!!!!!!!!!!!! I understand the jet lag, we flew back the same day and have recovered, but it was tough!!
