Oh where, oh where is the 171...oh where, oh where can it be??
We went in for our FBI fingerprinting three weeks ago today and still waiting for that darn I-171H! Tick, tock...tick, tock...tick, tock. The waiting game continues...

Well, last June in LA we were told 6-8 weeks, but that it usually came in 4-6. At 9 weeks, I actually called and talked to a live person at the BCIS to trace my MIA paperwork. It was there, and they expedited it so I could make our facilitators Sept. cutoff for an Oct DTC!
I know it's hard to wait, but everything for a reason: if it had only taken 4-6 weeks,we wouldn't have been referred Tenley. And the Red Thread works- she is definately OUR daughter!!

The waiting is enough to drive you mad, isn't it! I hope it comes soon. What a great Christmas gift that would be!
FYI-you will start to go a little nutty. You will find yourself checking the mailbox even after your mail has arrived...just in case. You will start to panic and wonder if it got lost. You will begin to call your agency to see if they have any news. You will dream about that piece of paper and wonder if you really did turn in the I-600A.
I can't wait to hear of it's arrival-my xmas wish for you is a speedy I171H. ~gen
